OUR STAFF IS COMMITTED
Kathy Marsden - Administrator
Kathy Marsden possesses the three best ingredients that an assisted living facility needs: organizational skills, communication skills and people skills. Add to this a huge portion of elderly care experience, a monster dash of caring, several pinches of flexibility, an overflowing cup of knowledge and a whole lot of very rare common sense and you’ll have the perfect recipe for an exceptional assisted living administrator.
Kathy also takes the cake when it comes to the personal qualities that make a great caregiver. She is highly compassionate and really cares about her residents. She instantly develops honest relationships with both the residents and their families, and gives genuine and non-institutional care and help to both. Kathy brings over 25 years of personal care experience to the table, but what really makes the difference is the direct knowledge and experience that Kathy has when it comes to providing the best care for someone you really love. Everyone who knows Kathy relies on her expertise and knowledge of nursing and care for the elderly to help them with their own loved ones.
She has the technical abilities and experience that really matter. She is one of a rare breed that have stayed in their profession since the beginning, always refining and honing their skills so that others can benefit from them. Kathy has over 20 years continued experience working at the largest hospital in the area. She also has over 15 years experience in the Home Health Care field as an individual case manager. Kathy also worked in a nationally reputed rehabilitation center where she earned a coveted ‘Employee of the Year’ award. Kathy’s technical skills and knowledge are just the icing on the top of a solid foundation of seeing people for who and what they are: real people with real issues. She is able to see and treat her residents and patients as real people, not just seeing them as sick or needy people. When elderly or otherwise afflicted people are under Kathy’s care, they are treated better than they would expect to be treated by family. Instead of dealing with people like institutions do (in many medical models), Kathy sees people as people and not merely patients or residents.
You won’t find anyone who works or cares more than Kathy. She has a very broad understanding of elderly care and yet possesses a very focused ability for one-on-one compassion, caring, and true help. When you want someone that can really help, you go get Kathy.
